Creativity in the Classroom
The Master Teacher is an intensive two-day group program to open up new creative approaches and leadership in the classroom. During the program, teachers move from congeniality to collegiality in interactions with colleagues, building an atmosphere that both supports and challenges.

We provide a platform for you to create new ways of teaching, based on the experience of ensemble - allowing feedback that both assesses current teaching skills and encourages new growth.

Our program helps you apply the principles of creativity to your classroom, addressing issues of leadership, (specifically authority, ownership, and demand), as they apply to classroom management, assessment, personality conflicts and student participation. We also encourage teaching that celebrates students' individual creativity, brings out their strengths, and allows the learning process to go beyond perceived limitations.

Finally, we explore teaching as an artistic act, moving you away from the role of "expert" and into the role of partner and collaborator in learning.

You will find a greater ability to successfully make demands of your students, increased confidence, a new understanding of your personal aesthetic as a teacher and a renewed experience of your own ability to teach - not merely to be the conveyor of information but a partner in your students' discovery of material.
